Giving up a successful career in favor of life as an artist, Tim has been creating works of art for nearly 20 years. Initially inspired by primitive and sacred objects, his fascination with the transformative power of art has developed over the years and led him to work with the concept that each person has inate creativity and that creativity is a life skill. He is currently studying Art and Psychotherapy, collaborating with Individuals and Businesses to build resilient, innovative and healthy communities through creative practice and the Arts.
Tim has returned to art after taking 4 years off to build a home for his family, possibly his biggest sculpture.
Definitely self taught. I have developed a lot of my own techniques and processes in response to the needs of my work. I take inspiration from all media but try not to be overly influenced by any particular style, preferring instead to explore my own inspiration and to concentrate on developing a very personal style of expression
