Born and raised in Ireland, Tania now lives and works in Wales. She studied Fine Art at Winchester, at Leeds College of Art, and more recently, she took a postgraduate course in Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths College.
She exhibits regularly in England, Ireland and Wales. As well as making sculpture, principally in stone and bronze, she cuts letters in stone for commemorative plaques and memorials to commission. She also runs workshops at The Rodd, Presteigne, for the Sidney Nolan Trust Sculpture Programme.
I am interested in the detail of natural objects. My present way of working is to make carved or modelled studies. I then combine and juxtapose these elements to build an amalgamated structure.
